During the past few terms in ESOL, we have been reading a book called Wonder and watched a movie about it and we have been comparing and trying to find a difference between them.

The difference that I like between the movie and the book is in the book version it showed an additional chapter that at the end of the awards, there was an extra scene when Auggie and his friends took pictures together on picture day. And of course, the main difference between the movie and the book that I found is that movie shows what's happening, unlike the book.

Why I think I really liked the first difference between the book and the story is that it made the story, slightly more memorable than the movie and I think it was a good extra scene added to the story.

100 Words Challenge

During ESOL we were doing a 100 words challenge that works by choosing a topic of your choice that is given by your teacher and writing it into 100 words or more.

Here is the 100 words challenge I did about what I hate about chores:

What I hate most about doing chores

One of the things I hate most about doing chores is doing the dishes because sometimes

my siblings and parents will give me an extra plate for me to wash especially when I am

almost done with the dish, it is also because I sometimes crack a plate when doing it.

What I also hate most about doing chores is taking out the bin because my job is the take

out the organic bin and that when I need to hang the clothes, they will sometimes give me

extra clothes to hang, I also hate chores because is that sometimes they might give me chores to do despite it being my sibling's turn.

What I think is fun about ESOL, in my opinion, is splitting into two groups and doing quizzes about Disney and they give us challenging writing tasks to do and learn about new sorts of interesting words and during rare occasions, we can also be able to get free time if our teacher is away such as using our phones, Chromebooks and listening to music. 

What Like to do in the weekend

What I like to do on the weekend

What I like to do during the weekend is watching on my phone such as anime or just random videos or talking to my friends in discord, I also like to practice volleyball in my backyard or just rest, on special occasions me and my parents and siblings watch a movie.

Things I also like to do during the weekends are visiting my friends and hang out with them, I also like playing on my phone on random games such as emulator, Minecraft, or Roblox.

I also just relax by listening to music or just eat, I also play with my siblings and also watch on my tv, and half of the time I also draw things such as anime, or creatures, every evening during the weekends is me and my parents attended Church in facetime.

What is 321 RIQ

 321 RIQ

321 RIQ is a strategy for writing my ESOL class use during blogging. 

How 321 RIQ works are that you would need to write three recalls you learnt from and add two new things you learnt and 1 Question about something you don't get and struggling.

Doing the name game and learning about my ESOL classmates and learning about the benefits of blogging and why learning English is also a good benefit.

2 New things I learnt so far:

The benefits of blogging are because it reflects your writing and allows you to show your mistakes so you can learn from it and it also gives you a much better understanding of what you are writing about and why learning English is also a good benefit so you can have better communication with others.
