From the past few weeks, I and my maths group were using graphs, tables and rules to describe the relationship in patterns.

How did I work it out:
How I worked it out is to multiply the number of the size by three then plus one to find the answer. An example I am working out how much lights does tree size 5 has. All I have to do is to time 5 by 3 then plus 1 equal sixteen.
