Big Friendly Giant/BFG (For Short)
By Jaren
Book: Created by Roald Dahl
Hello Viewers
Today I'm going to talk about a book called Big Friendly giant.
This book is about a friendly giant with his friend named Sophie.
BFG's favourite hobbies are doing his homework, talking with Sophie and telling stories. BFG looks likes a giant caveman with dark hairy skin, long arms with long legs, he smells like rotten coming from an organic bin, his personality is friendly, kind and thoughtful especially to his friend Sophie.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Mōrena Jaren!
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mikey. I'm a member of the Summer Learning Journey team this year and I'll be commenting on some of your blog posts over the summer. It's so great to see that you've made a start on the teaser week activities - well done! :)
This is a wonderful description of the BFG. I particularly like the part about his 'dark, hairy skin' - I can picture exactly what you mean in my mind when I read it. Have you read the BFG? Or seen the movie? I remember reading lots of Roald Dahl's books when I was at school. The BFG was definitely one of my favourites.
Congratulations again on completing your first teaser task! Remember, the programme officially begins next Monday (December 16th), so be sure to check out the Week 1 activities then. In the meantime, keep going with the teaser week activities - I can't wait to read more! :)
Bye for now,
Mikey
