Haiku Activity 1

Hello Viewers.

If you don't know what a haiku is, Haiku is a three sentenced poem that needs 2 sentences of 5 Syllables and 1 sentence of 7 Syllables. They need to make sense and make sure they are in order.

Syllable Order:

5

Here are some of the examples and one of the Haiku poems I made if you still don't know what a haiku poem is:

EOTC Reflection

 EOTC Reflections

In the last three days on EOTC, we have been going in one of the best trips of the term, we have been going to Adrinarline Forest, Jellie Park, and to the city.

Adrenaline forest was one of my favourite and scariest trips I've been to, we have been climbing on high trees and short trees, each of them has levels and difficulties. At Adrenaline Forest we have also been to a nearby playground, playing, climbing and finding four-leaf clovers. There was also a basketball court, mini-golf, swings, flying fox and a funning looking web where you can climb on. What frightened me during Adrenaline forest was when I moving level by level I started to realise when I looked down I started moving higher and higher. My favourite part during Adrinarline Forest was when we climbed because It was my first time and my best experience climbing in Adrenaline Forest.

On Jellie Park was also one of my fun trips so far, there was a hydro slide, a jumping board and of course a very large pool that can probably fit around 100 kids or more. The things that challenged me during Jellie park was when I had to wait in a long line of people during the hydro slide. My favourite part during Jellie Park was the hydro slide because you get to slide there with around 1 to 7 people or less.

On City was probably by the best trip out of all the trips I've been to, we have been doing a scavenger hunt in a museum and found many interesting things on the way after the scavenger hunt we went to the library and explored around the area. My most favourite part in the city was when we went to Magaret MahyPark because their playground was massive and there was a very long slide and flying fox.

Whale Explanation Writing

 Whale Explanation Writing

This is how whales get to be so huge -- and what limits them from being even bigger - ABC News

Whales live about more than 200 years, they live around all the major oceans

from the Arctic and the Antarctic Oceans where there is enough food for

them to eat and survive. Whales can grow up to 2.7m and also

weigh more than 150,000 kg.

All fish breath underwater using their gills. Whales can’t breath underwater so

they use their nostrils called blowholes to breathe air like we do. They store a

large amount of oxygen in their bodies and muscles instead of keeping it in

their lungs.

Whales eat fish such as krill fish, their main food, zooplankton, and algae.

Whales don’t use their teeth for biting, instead, they use it for holding or

capturing fish, they eat about 40 million fish a day. Some whales such as the

humpback whale mainly eat herring and anchovies.

There are many types of whales and they are still being killed today, many

whales are dying as their populations are decreasing as we speak, whales are

suffering and being tortured by us humans.

EOTC Days(Part what I'm Excited for and Nervous about)

What I'm excited about EOTC Days

On EOTC I am looking forward to going to is Jellie Park because of the hydro slide and because it is one of my favorite trips I'm always looking forward to going.

What I'm nervous about in EOTC is when we go to the Adrenaline Forest because there will be tall sites my class will be going and I am one of the people who dislike heights.
