If you don't know what a haiku is, Haiku is a three sentenced poem that needs 2 sentences of 5 Syllables and 1 sentence of 7 Syllables. They need to make sense and make sure they are in order.

Syllable Order:

5

7

Here are some of the examples and one of the Haiku poems I made if you still don't know what a haiku poem is:

  1. Kia ora Jaren,

I love the haiku you have created! You have perfectly met the syllable requirements. I really like that you used the word “exhausted”. This is such a great descriptive word!

I love to have relaxing days at home. I think the holidays are such a great time for this. What do you like to do to relax?

I look forward to seeing more of your posts.

    Ngā mihi,

    Charlotte
