During Wananga, we have been researching about our culture and a topic of our choice about it. 

My topic was about the Philippines and I have been researching about its sports and why it is important to the Philippines. 

One of the facts I have learned as I was researching was that how sports represent the Philippines is that sports are one of the important parts of their culture, I also found out was that sports in the Philippines were originated with Arnis, which is one of the traditional sports in the Philippines.

    Did you know that arnis is actually not a sport? Arnis is a martial art mainly used for the military. It involves melee weapons like knives or sticks.
