Flying Solo
By Jaren
Hello Viewers
Today I'm going to do a comparison of two women who both have
something in common and their differences.
What they both have in common:
1. They both fly solo
2. They both flew country to country
3. They lived almost the same as each other
Differences:
1. They were not born from the same place.
2. Amelia Earhart didn't fly across the world.
3. Amelia doesn't wear a silk dress.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Hey Jaren,
ReplyDeleteMe again. :)
Congratulations on completing another activity! It's so great to see you putting the time and effort into working on the Summer Learning Journey programme - well done! :)
You've shared some really good differences and similarities here. Amelia Earhart and Jean Batten must have been incredibly brave women to travel such long distances all by themselves. Have you been on a plane before?
Next time, it might be a good idea to tell your readers who your post is about. You've mentioned Amelia Earhart's name but you haven't said that you're comparing her to Jean Batten. Those people who aren't familiar with the Summer Learning Journey wouldn't know that.
Thanks Jaren. Have a great day. :)
Blog ya later,
Mikey
